 Overview of Duct Electric Heaters
The air duct heater is mainly used for heating the air in the air duct. It comes in three specifications: low-temperature, medium-temperature and high-temperature. The common feature in structure is that it uses steel plates to support the electric heating tubes to reduce the vibration of the electric heating tubes when the fan stops. In the junction box, there is an over-temperature control device. The low-temperature type can be directly installed on the air duct, while the medium-temperature type and high-temperature type, due to structural differences, have 100mm thick insulation material sandwished between the outer wall of the channel and the junction box of the heater. On the one hand, this reduces the heat dissipation of the entire channel to the outside; on the other hand, it also lowers the temperature inside the junction cavity.

Product features of the duct electric heater
1. The electric heating tube is wrapped with corrugated stainless steel strips on the outside, which increases the heat dissipation area and greatly improves the heat exchange efficiency.

The composition of the product
The air duct heater is composed of several parts such as finned multi-tube tubular electric heating elements, a box body, and a control system. The finned tubular electric heating element is made by placing high-temperature resistance wire inside a metal tube and tightly filling the gap with crystalline magnesium oxide powder that has good insulation and heat conduction performance. Using tubular electric heating elements as the heating body, it features an advanced structure and high thermal efficiency. Air is heated evenly when it is circulating.
Diagnosis and elimination of common faults
Fault 1: The digital display meter does not work.
Check whether the main power supply air switch is closed and whether the control circuit is in good condition.
Fault 2: The temperature of the heater does not rise.
Check if the fuse is in good condition and if the AC contactor is engaged. Is the heater damaged?
Open the protective cover of the air duct heater and use a multimeter to check whether each single electric heating element is open-circuited.、、
